What Virat Kohli Told the Pitch Invader

When asked about his interaction with Kohli, the pitch invader shared his experience with The Times of India (TOI):

“The moment I touched his feet, Virat Kohli sir asked my name and told me, ‘Jaldi se bhaag jaa (run away fast).’ He even requested security not to harm me.”

RCB Dominates KKR in Their Own Backyard

Virat Kohli played a key role in RCB’s dominant 7-wicket victory over the defending champions at Eden Gardens. He top-scored with a blistering 56 off 31 balls, while opener Phil Salt contributed a quickfire 59 off 36 deliveries.

RCB’s new recruit, Krunal Pandya, delivered a brilliant bowling performance, picking up 3 wickets for 29 runs in his 4 overs. He dismissed key players, including KKR captain Ajinkya Rahane, vice-captain Venkatesh Iyer, and star batter Rinku Singh. Despite their efforts, KKR managed to post only 174/8 in 20 overs—an underwhelming total against RCB’s strong batting lineup.

With this loss, KKR will now look to bounce back in their next match against Rajasthan Royals (RR) on March 26 in Guwahati.
